49-323 - SUSPENDING PRIVILEGES OF NONRESIDENTS AND REPORTING CONVICTIONS

(1) The privilege of driving a motor vehicle on the highways given to a
nonresident shall be subject to suspension, disqualification or revocation by
the department in a like manner and for a like cause as a driver's license
issued to a resident may be suspended, disqualified or revoked.
(2) Upon receipt of a record of the conviction in this state of a
nonresident driver for any offense under the motor vehicle laws, the
department shall forward a certified copy or electronic transfer of the record
to the motor vehicle administrator in the state wherein the person so
convicted is a resident and to the national driver register.
